Whistle-blowers
CISCHR positively welcomes and invites ‘whistle-blowers’ who wish to have their ‘personal stories’ and relevant evidence published on this site. No material, however, will be published that cannot as a clear matter of test:
(i) demonstrate both de jure and de facto “obvious public interest”; AND
(ii) specifically illustrate the actual or potential misapplication or misuse of information
technologies.
All published material (which may under exceptional circumstances be attributed anonymously) will be subject to rigorous scrutiny and assessment by CISCHR. In addition all originators will be subject to a non-prejudicial contract following negotiation.
CISCHR is particularly interested in people (wherever located) who have particular experience in the following areas:
Information Technologies
Medical and Biotechnologies
Health Service
Education
Social Services
Criminal Justice System (including Police)
Agriculture
Media and Journalism
Armed Forces
Private Security
Banking and Financial Services
Sports
Local Government
Civil Service
Regulatory Bodies
NGOs and/or Voluntary Sector
If you are interested in approaching the Centre as a bona fide “whistle-blower”, please contact the Centre directly for a discreet, initial discussion.
